Love is an unexplained thing.

Especially when it comes to loving someone, you maybe feel something that you can’t explain. It could be a good feeling. It could be sad. It could be weird.

It could be anything.

You maybe feel something odd when you are with someone. Some feelings you can’t explain. Some feelings you haven’t experienced in the past. Some feelings make you want to lay on the bed all day long. Some feelings encourage you to do something you haven’t done before.

You ask yourself, “Why I’ve experienced these feelings? What happened with me?”

And then, finally, you realize that “someone” is special for you because you will only experience those unexplained things if you are with her/him.

We called it: Falling in Love.

Here are seven signs you are falling in love with someone:

1. You feel the butterflies in your stomach

You will notice you feel something odd on your stomach. Some tickling movements make you laugh without anything funny around you. This thing also makes you smile when you see her/his message notification.

Everything about your someone is constantly activating this butterflies movement.

It could be when she/he smiles at you. It could be her/his message. It could be a condition when you and she/he are accidentally attending the same event. And more!

Based on Dr. Daniel Amen’s info, we experience this butterflies effect because our nerves are stimulating our stomach. There is a strong nerve connection between our brain and stomach. Wonderful!

2. You reply to her/his message quickly

“Tun-ing!” — Her/his message comes.

Within a sec, you will reply to her/his message very excitedly.

You reply to it as soon as possible because you don’t want to make her/him wait. You are afraid that if she/he is waiting too long for your message, she/he will lose interest in chatting with you again. You don’t want it to happen.

You are also very excited to see what she/he replied. You will always try to make the conversation enjoyable. You want to keep this chatting longer because you love it!

3. “Dag-dug-dag-dug” Your heart beating so fast when you meet her/him

Dr. Reginald Ho said:

“When you see your special one, your heart will beat so fast because of the adrenaline rush. Your brain sends hormonal signals to the adrenal gland — then your heart beats faster and stronger.”

There is a time when you will meet your special person one day. It could be accidentally meeting together, or maybe you are planning it!

When you meet her/him one day, you will be freezing. Your heart is beating so fast — “dag-dug-dag-dug.” Maybe you will become nervous. And also perhaps your face will be getting red. A cold sweat comes from your hand.

Your act will be uncontrolled. Perhaps you will do some silly movements such; squeeze your hands, scratching your head, moving your foot — like you’re stepping on a drum’s pedal, and more.

Chill! Take a deep breath. You will be alright because of your ice-breaking act and her/his smile.

Ahoy!

4. She/he become your number one priority

It doesn’t matter how stubborn you are — you will make your special person be number one priority in your life.

There will be a condition when you will accept her/his lunch invitation rather than come to your friend’s house and play PlayStation all day long.

You will be the number one person whos ready for her/him if she/he needs something help. You will be ready anytime to be contacted by her/him.

It doesn’t mean you do not care about your friend — but your priority changed.

And it’s okay.

5. You always want to meet her/him

Once a day is not enough.

Although you already meet him in the morning, you keep wanting to repeat it in the afternoon and night. You feel those hours you spent with her/him in the morning are not enough.

You will use every possible chance to meet her/him again. It doesn’t matter if today’s weather is wet, rainy, or even stormy! As long you meet her/him, you are pleased.

“I want to meet her/him no matter what!”

A stubborn thought on your head.

6. You want to spend your time with her/him every second of your life

She/he is like a medicine for your illness.

You need her/him every second of your life. I know it sounds like drug addiction, but yeah, it looks the same! Lol. The difference is drugs make your body and mind unhealthy, but loving someone makes your body and soul pleased.

Time becomes so fast when you are with her/him. One day is like one hour. One hour is like one minute. And one minute is like one second.

Insane.

7. You are loyal spending money with her/him

I don’t say you will waste your money if you fall in love with someone.

No.

You keep staying on track for your financial expenses, but you will be loyal to her/him.

You will bring her/him to the best restaurant in your town that you can afford — when you are dating. You will buy the best gift for her/him on her/his birthday.

You won’t think about “If I spent this money with her/him, what will I get?”

How much money you spent is no longer matters.

I belong to the people I love, and they belong to me- they, and the love and loyaty I give them, form my identity far more than any word or group ever could. — Veronica Roth

Final thought

You are blessed if you have experienced loving someone in your life. Because not everyone can experience it, praise yourself! Embrace yourself! God bless you.

Nothing wrong when it comes to “falling in love with someone.” As long it gives the good things for you, keep doing it. But if it is hurt you, please stop it. Maybe you are falling in love with the wrong person. Perhaps you are not meant to be loving her/him.

Love should bring happiness to you.
